Tutorial: How to Make Your Own Photoshop Brush.The Basics of Brush Creation
My first tutorial. And I'm not from English-speaking country. Which means I'm sorry for my mistakes. Just ignore them, please.
I love creating brushes and I've already made more than 100 sets. I give them away for free on the deviantart, so feel free to look at my gallery.
This tutorial is to help beginners in brush making. I tried to write it as simple as possible.

Excellent!! Quick and easy to understand and also...I didn't know that to save sets you have to hold ctrl or shift (when you are in preset) down to save the set...oh my goodmness ..no wonder when I save a set I only have one. LOL....I just go and click them all real fast and then after I am done...I save as set and the last one is the only one that is saved! Thank you so much Lil!!!

Thanks so much for your tutorial! I took graphic design classes in college and used Photoshop in these. The instructor demonstrated many uses for this phenomenal program, but did not tell us we could make our own brushes. I have downloaded some of yours and some others from this site and am excited to try out using them, but I really wanted to learn how to make my own. You have definitely solved that problem for me!
