Kept this in my inbox for ages because I really wanted to comment. I think you did really fantastic work with this one, the effects and lighting make Melody blend with the scene perfectly, and her expression in the second panel is so strong. You can really feel the sheer terror and disbelief at what is happening. Truly fantastic work!

I know that it was a terrible moment when Shade and the Silverwings lost their home, but holy muffins, can I just tell you how impressive and awesome this is?!!! I think you perfectly captured the intensity of Tree Haven burning down and Melodys' horrified expression upon seeing it destroyed amplifies the grim mood!

But I was lucky to find and buy a DVD copy!
It's a shame it never got renewed for a second season. But it was already on a tight budget and the quality of the art did degrade quite a bit later in the episodes.
