I very much love this piece. I think the water at the bottom left is too bright and the refletion at the bottom right doesn't come out right.

I like how you smoothed out the water, it makes it feel almost easy to touch. The waterfalls, however, do not look real. The aren't the same lighting and look like they were added in. They need to blend in more in the image. The landscape is pretty and the waterfalls themselves look good. They just don't look like part of the area.

lol yea this wa like my 2nd terragen work back when I first strarted so I was a bit unexperienced,(which enplains the bad blending) I would fix it up but I lost the source when my pc crashed.

I like the concept a lot, and it's great at first glance. A few things are bugging me:
1. The waterfalls don't look quite right. Keep experimenting with brushes, and don't go too soft.
2. The edges of the terrain (where they hit the water) scream LOW RES 3D TERRAIN! LOW RES 3D TERRAIN! LOW RES 3D TERRAIN! I don't know Terragen, so I can't help you with that. Just try to give those more detail.
3. All the shadows are very washed out. Again, a Terragen thing. In real life, closer objects are much less washed out than distant ones, and the wash-out is a bluish-violet color. Also, the caves from which the waterfalls pour are both highly improbable and far too dark--they should be whatever color the shaded areas on the mountains are.
I understand this was only your second Terragen piece. Quite a good start, actually!

Nice, the holes where the water comes out doesn't look quite right, but everything else looks soft and cool.

Bryce is good and its easier but I like terragen better, It give u more control of thing like the terrain, sky, ect. U got some pretty nice pics and I know what u mean your not being 'complete'. I have troble finishing things too lo.l

Nice, but I prefer using Bryce for my 3d pics. I use Bryce 2 myself, never tried Terragen, maybe I shud check it out? Next year I'm taking Graphics, GNVQ ICT and Art so look at my pics in a year or two- they WILL get better... check out my pics.
All art is in my scrapbook. I don't like to think any of my art as 'complete'. Oh no, it never ends with me. Various anime including Beyblade, Shaman King and Yugioh! feature, as well as Neopets. And my avatars? All handmade thanks to a site from munkii dot net.

good terrain
I don't like how the waterfalls come out of no where and I would lessen the "roughness" of the water

Acually if u look right at the top of the waterfalls theres a hole where the water comes out. I made it kinda small though maybe I should make it a lil bigger.
