i have a question since u seem to kno what ur doing when it comes to rainmeter, is it possible to have a rainmeter skin loop 1 mp3 file without the use of an external program such as winamp or foobar or itunes etc...? i've been doing some little nitpicks from another skin that i've been using and its almost precisly to my liking cept i just want it to loop one song.

btw this skin is great very nice job

Really liking the skin. I was thinking of using your skin as a template to add on a cpu / gpu temperature square. If you approve of them, maybe you could add them in?

Thanks for making this great skin.

But I got a slight problem, the player won't show my foobar info (using v2.2 rainmeter)

I have edited the skin from itunes to PlayerName=foobar2000

thought it's because I am using portable foobar but then I just installed latest version foobar it still does not act after countless refresh.

Anyone else get your foobar not work or it's just me?

Okay.. I am a complete novice to Rainmeter but I am able to normally edit the HDD's to C: drive.. But with this.. I just don't know how, any help please? XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lilshizzy In reply to SirStuey [2012-04-05 18:35:01 +0000 UTC]

There are two ways of doing it.. the second option is ideal.

1. You can change the drives manual by editing the individual skin.. "Edit skin", wherever you see Drive=#HDD1# change it to Drive=C:

OR

2. In your Skins folder, look for "Rainmeter\Skins\Encoded\Variables", open the file "Default.inc". Look for "HDD1 HDD2 HDD3" and alter the letter next to them to you're desired drive.

Any way to get the NowPlaying to work with the pandora desktop application? I'm super new to rainmeter, and would like to add it. Love the skin! Awesome work!

Also, any suggestions for how to figure out how to add other email clients? I'm still in college, so I have multiple email accounts I have to use between personal and school related. Thanks again!

Awesome skin, though it took me roughly an hour to make the HDD component show 4 drives instead of 3

One big con, there is a problem with the music component. It won't work with foobar. Changing the player in the .ini doesn't do anything, the component doesn't show anything, and foobar doesn't respond to the buttons. What might be the problem? I am using Rainmeter 2.2.

helderm In reply to LordJebe [2012-06-06 16:19:20 +0000 UTC]

Could you pass me the edit you made for 4 drives? I tried myself but the last drive got mixed with the third one in the box. Must need some edit with the square size, but I don't known exactly how to do it.

LordJebe In reply to helderm [2012-07-23 14:42:01 +0000 UTC]

Surely! Here it is: [link]
Remember to change the drive letters in Rainmeter\Skins\Encoded\Variables\Default.inc to the drives you have.

First of all, just wanted to thank you for such an AMAZING skin! I use it for my desktop now, and I absolutely love it. The only question I have about the Now Playing component: I have it set to Spotify, and the track position is permanently at 0:00 when a song is playing. Is that a known bug, or something I could fix on my end?

Other than that one problem, everything else works perfectly. Thank you so much!

Vectortionist [2012-01-12 18:05:28 +0000 UTC]

I love this skin and it's so close to being perfect if it wasn't for a few issues I'm having.

[link]

In this image you can see three of the issues I'm having with the dimensions of the iTunes player. I circled a problem with the track length measure which doesn't seem to be working properly. I squared the one pixel difference between the album art and song information squares. The most important problem is, however, is that the player itself is an odd length that doesn't seem to fit in with any of the squares' measurements. I tried editing the .ini myself and it just ended up more messed up than before. Could you suggest a possible solution? Thanks and great work!
