I remarked to a friend that "Tippens" was cute (Misha Collinsβ proper name being Dmitri Tippens Krushnic) and sounded like a heroic little mouse, and she said somebody needed to draw him. ALSO. I am ecstatic about the song you listed for this picture, because Mirrormask is one of my favorite movies of all time and is not very well known and not that popular despite it's freaking amazing plot,soundtrack, and visuals.

Thank you! I know, I love Mirrormask, too. I don't think I'll ever do fanart for it, because it always gave me a kind of creepy, uncomfortable feeling and I didn't connect with any of the characters. Still a gorgeous movie, though, and the music made a big impact on me.

I cannot tell you how adorable I find wee Tippens. <3 The details on his bag (I'm a big fan of button closures like that) and the bandage on his little tail are wonderful. I kinda sorta want to watch An American Tail and The Secret of Nimh now.
I find it so odd that I can look at this mouse and see Misha in him. *shakes head in wonder* Lovely work!

This is seriously AMAZING!!! I think the name Tippens is just the best and it fits perfectly! It totally reminded me or Secret of Nimh! I loved that movie so much when I was little, I had forgotten what is was called until a couple of months ago when I found it on netflix and recognized it from the art on the cover. Mouse!Misha is just too cute I can't get over it!
