I remember that series! I think we watched it in school. I remember being seriously freaked out by the Snow Queen, and I think we were all traumatized by Aslan being killed. That shit is way too heavy for grade-schoolers.

Oh, yeah. I was usually pretty tough about that stuff - like, I've always really liked things that made me emotional. Aslan's death and rebirth is ingrained into my memory forever in any case. Aaaah I wanna watch it all again.

As much as I loathe the cold, this piece is particularly heart-warming and seeing a frosty background is actually a bit refreshing amid the humidity! Fantastic job, as always, love, and I have to say the matching coat and hat are absolutely darling!!

I adore everything about this. I love the color combinations used here, and I love the elegant balance between the details on Claire and Mr. Tumnas's clothes and the slightly abstract/beautifully uncomplicated style of the background. Also, their gentle, sweet smiles make me happy.

Thank you so much! I was looking for a brush or a stock image to fudge the background, but birch trees are so easy to do and so attractive, I just gave it a go. Glad I did! It's kind of Calvin & Hobbes-y.

Your drawings of couples (in any sense) doing adorably mundane things always gives me all sorts of warm-fuzzies. It makes me think of my fiance and how he'd help me button my jacket or I'd brush off his hat or we'd wipe food off of each other's mouths. Little things that you don't do with other people, that seem really insignificant to onlookers.
I'm rambling. Beautiful colours, and the little red noses make me happy.
