I know exactly what you mean, and those are my favorite little moments to see and draw. The way you touch someone's face when you love them and they're comfortable with your presence. If some stranger tried to do that, you'd jerk back like, The hell are you doing, dude. But I love when people get all cozy up in each others' faces.
