My little sister Kit , as a hobbit, being cuddled by Fili and Kili, because she is my favorite person. Kitter, whenever you feel stressed, just look at this and feel better maybe.
There are a host of costuming mistakes, but for real, how is a person supposed to get all that dwarf shit straight? Beards and braids and buckles and belts and cables and fur and layers upon layers! So, I fudged it. Also, she's kind of tall for a hobbit? But hell, she's taller than me, so. Love you, Kit.

Dawwww <3 they were my favourites. Especially because I recognised both of the actors as ones I love a great deal from other things but it didn't wreck my immersion at all because they were just that awesome at being dwarves. I told my SO that if they died I didn't know if I could take it and my heart was in my throat every time that it looked like one of them might (and that was quite a few times damn them!) I haven't read The Hobbit, so I'll ask anyone who has to not say anything about whether they do or don't die in the next parts.

Kit read The Hobbit back in the day, and she gave me her Very Special Cliffnotes version of it. I guess that's all I can say about it.
I hadn't seen any of the dwarves in anything else, except for James Nesbitt. I fell desperately in love with him as Pig Finn in perhaps my favorite movie of all time, Waking Ned Devine.

Oh no, now you're making me think that both or one of them ends really tragically. No - don't say anything affirmative or negative. I'm a masochist when it comes to feels like this. I love not knowing, and worrying, and the suspense that comes with that. All the internal speculation and angst about what ifs just feeds my fannish love for any given thing.
The last time I told someone who had read it that I hadn't read The Hobbit and I was worried about my favourite characters, but didn't want to be spoiled they just said "they changed some things, so it might not even happen like in the book so I really have no idea who might die".

I think we BOTH know what really happens: after the reclamation of Erebor, Fili and Kili meet these two gorgeous dwarf babes named Lily and Amy, and they fall wildly in love and spend the next hundred years making beautiful dwarf babies who are forever visited by their various uncles (and great-uncles).

If what I saw was an accurate representation of what happens, then ~nooo, why both of them?~ *sobs* I still don't know how though, and I think I'd like to keep it that way. My heart is broken enough right now as it is.

So I was thinking, If you wanted to make an "Insert yourself into Dwarf cuddles" image, you could always make a base. (And we wouldn't want to trample on your sisters picture so you could draw something totally different) Just a thought :3

I'd make one in your own style though, because often pixel bases look shoddy, and your art is so lovely.

adorable!! :3 you know, i think it'd be really awesome to be a hobbit. they eat like, how many meals a day? breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, lunchtime, tea time, supper, dinner... and dessert after most of each one... plus they live in these gorgeous homes. AND they also get visited by Gandalf sometimes. Yup, being a hobbit would be awesome.
