My little sister Kit , as a hobbit, being cuddled by Fili and Kili, because she is my favorite person. Kitter, whenever you feel stressed, just look at this and feel better maybe.
There are a host of costuming mistakes, but for real, how is a person supposed to get all that dwarf shit straight? Beards and braids and buckles and belts and cables and fur and layers upon layers! So, I fudged it. Also, she's kind of tall for a hobbit? But hell, she's taller than me, so. Love you, Kit.

Ugh, and Dean O'Gorman is so fine, he makes me feel like my bones are butter. But Lord, I would not throw Aidan Turner out of bed for eatin' crackers...

Yeah, Dean's pretty cute but doesn't have anything that goes BAM for me. Aidan on the other hand... *unf* Especially as Kili, but also just in general. I especially love his smile. The right smile really makes me weak at the knees.

Aidan Turner's eyes could melt the polar icecaps, and he has the most amazing eyebrows I've ever seen. O'Gorman's lips are like pure poetry, and he looks like Sarah Bernhardt's secret lovechild, which charms me into weakness.
Ghahhhd, I just swept a quick search of photos of the two of them, and I just threw my hands up and went, "TO HELL WITH YOU". LIKE I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE.

Aidan Turner has very strong/striking features - all strong sharp lines in a really sexy way. His hair is just gorgeous too. I just want to ruffle it and run my hands through it all day long. If I lived in NZ or could travel there, I would totally apply for the job of Aidan Turner's hair braider for the next movie. I know his dwarf hair is probably a wig or something but whatever this doesn't have to make sense.
I had another look at pictures of O'Gorman and he has an absolutely wonderful smile too. I think it's just the blonde hair blue eyes thing that puts me off - it really does nothing for me as a hair/eye combination.

Dark eyes make people feel more comfortable than light eyes as a rule -- they make the pupils look bigger, and appear more honest and kind. That's a weird little fact I learned way back when, and it's true. Like my sister has really big, dark eyes and black hair, and children love her, but I have light grey eyes and they never quite get comfortable around me.
Turner's got that really charming contrast of sharp angles and soft features (dark eyes, plush lip). Man, I was just watching Richard Armitage in Robin Hood, and that man is like a blade. He look like he could cut you with an expression, amirite?
By the way, can I just tell you, I am having so much fun dishing about boys with you. ^u^ *wiggles*

Huh, that's really interesting. When I think about it though, yeah. Guys with big dark eyes is one of the many things that I crush on and their eyes always give off a really pleasant, peaceful and warm feeling - especially if they pull a puppy dog expression.
You hit the nail on the head with the sharp/soft thing. That fluffy hair, the warm eyes, the lips and the brilliant smile contrasting with the sharp lines of his face and the stubble when he has it (which I think is him at his best looking). Being Human UK (which is brilliant if you haven't seen it - you should give it a go) had many many great things about it, but one of them was definitely sitting there the whole time he was on screen just biting my lip and thinking DAMN.
I'm having fun too. It's rare I find someone who enjoys doing this as much as me. Usually it's like
Me: "Gah! Martin Freeman is so adorable"
Friend: "Yeah yeah, you've said that already, can we talk about something else now?"
Maybe it's because I have relatively few friends who are into dudes at all and those that are do not share my taste.
Speaking of Martin Freeman. I think he did a brilliant job in the Hobbit, but I'm still a little off put by the fact that of all the actors I knew from other things, he was the only one who broke my immersion by reminding me of himself & previous characters he's played. Maybe it's just because Bilbo is pretty much entirely the Middle Earth equivalent of Watson, but it pulled me out of the movie once or twice.
