An old-fashioned Bri-chan -style Reggie sketchdump, 'cause I need the practice.I really like Reg in his milliner's getup. It's not real clear what he's doing -- working a hat form with a brush. My sister liked his "sexy hatmaking gloves", which I stole from Noodle (of Gorillaz).

It was the mercury used in hatmaking, if I understand right. Got into their skin and made 'em crazy like!

It caused severe vitamin deficiencies which killed off brain cells, yes! It didn't actually make them "mad" like Alice's Mad Hatter, more like Alzheimer's symptoms such as amnesia and dementia. But yes.

I agree with your sister on the "sexy hatmaking gloves". xD They're, well, sexy.
Also, I loooove that you drew him without his coat in the top left picture. I'm obsessed with his vest and how he manages to make it so hawt.
The bottom left picture is giving me images of drunk Reggie. The thought scares me. (Then again... Since he's so crazy when he's sober... Maybe when he's drunk, he acts normal? (?!))

He does have the one outfit, but it's got lots of stuff you can mess with to make it look different. (: You can take off the coat, maybe take off the bowtie, the hat, the gloves, etc. Mixing and matching!
As for Alice... You could take off her apron? xD (Her dress would be kind of boring then, wouldn't it?)

I recently read a twist on the Alice in wonderland story called The looking glass Wars. and all the mad hatter pictures i look at seem hilarious cause of the book's version of him (Hattar Madigan)

yes he is. The only time he looks normal, they say in the book, is when he's polishing his weapons. It's a good book, and I enjoyed it.

I love all these expressions for him! I like how fluid and soft all the lines are, this is great stuff my dear, the clothing and details are great too! Paper cuts are the devil...no lie.
Random Harry Potter nerd moment but the bottom right hand corner sketch reminds me of Remus Lupin for some weird reason. Dunno, I think it's the fact he's reading and drinking tea at the same time...ah okay random nerd moment over with.
My favorite is the one in the middle, I can't draw hats to save my life and I really like how you were sort of able to play around with that hat concept, very creative and props to you.

I thank you! I feel like I have a lot of trouble with hats, so that was a wee triumph for me. And I feel the Lupin love there. I think it's because he looks cozy and disheveled.
