You were so proud, Jareth. But the right one will bring you to your knees.Like a mystery of Harris Burdick, I'm going to leave the story up to you.
Like a million years ago, when I was coming up on 500,000 pageviews, I took a poll to see which fandom I should service for my thank-you drawing. Labyrinth won out, which was kind of a surprise. I started this one but just couldn't make it work. I kept picking it up and tossing it aside for months. Well, I recently hit 600K, so I thought I should get off my can and finish this. And you know, it turned out really nicely, I think. I'm really satisfied with it. One of those rare examples of something turning out exactly the way I saw it in my head.
God, I miss the snow.

It's snowy and beautiful outside now, so it's even easier to imagine this scenery, and you can almost feel the wind because of those strands of hair caught in it (I like how you sketched the trees by the way, and love Jareth's face in the first panel. ♡)

My dad called me last night to say my hometown just got hit by a huge snowstorm. I live in Hawaii, so I envy people who get to see the snow! Drawing this made me totally nostalgic.

Harris Burdick! I had that book when I was a kid! I used to spend hours leafing through those pages - the stories and pictures were just dark and morbid enough to capture my creepy child's imagination.
Oh, and I love this drawing. Love her cold-flushed cheeks! <3 Love, everything about it, really.

I love you for this!!! I saw this movie for the first time when I was 6, and it still is my absolute favorite, and I'm doubly happy because my son loves it to! At least twice a week he asks me to lay the "Owl-man" for him.

It is hard not to love this picture from the moment when you first see it. Even my sister who, for some unknown reason, can't stand the movie, loved it.
I couldn't think think of what else to say about this and read through some of the coments. Many tell you it's, in one word beautiful and realy there's no more that can be said. It is a beautiful piece and makes me sorry that I havent looked at your gallery before.
