Too true, WAY too true. I have seen it so many times I think I'm quite SICK of it. I like it (and I can tell) when a person is drawing because they WANT to draw and just show it to some person who wants to be plain out popular. But it's good to see that there still are people on DA that like their art as is and doesn't go around doing dumb things for popularity.

I'd say that DA is a lot like this. Whether these people get popular seems to be subject to questioning. Unfortunatly, most of the people on DA draw as a hobby, like me, and don't try to hone their own styles as they just do it for fun. Now, for me, it's just that I don't have the talent to draw much better than I already do. XD
Fortunatly, peopl are starting to veer away from these habits on DA.
