Β Β My father had lived in a haunted house when he was a kid. There was some treasure of a sort hidden in the house and he, his sisters, and his mother and horrible stepfather tried to find it, and all ended up failing. My dad even checked the attic, which for some peculiar reason, was the one room gave everyone the chills. Whenever my aunts, his sisters, were at the stairs, they felt as if someone was there. And then there's the incident with my father alone. When they moved into the house, his bedroom was in the basement. One night, while sleeping there, he woke up in the middle of the night, and at the foot or side of his bed, he saw this white blob thingy. He was so terrified, he practically fell out of his bed. However, when he turned on the light, the haint vanished. After that, for a month or so, my father refused to sleep with the lights off.

I saw one when I was little. In the kitchen, there was an outline of a person. He stared at me, then turned and ran through the wall. I thought it was normal, but I haven't seen such thing since.

I saw one once back when I was in grade 7. It was the first day of middle school and my teacher told me to count all the students in the class. I counted and told the teacher that there were 40 people in the class. My friend corrected me that there were only 39 students in the class and he told me that there's one empty chair in the last row near the window. I told him that a caucasian student was sitting there and he said : "no one is a caucasian in our class and no one is sitting there." I heard stories about my school being haunted by Dutch ghosts, headless man, Japanese soldier roaming the halls of our school and all that Indonesian horror stuff. So I believe.

there seems to be a ghost in my house, back in 2007 I had my first ghost experience. When I had just gotten into bed, around midnight-ish from what I remember, I heard a strange sound that sounded like it was right by my bedside. When I looked over to that side of my bed, I saw nothing, but suddenly I heard footsteps around my room. That's all that I could remember. In the past few years, I've seen figures of ghosts around my house, about the height of an adult. I've heard countless voices, and footsteps. I'd wish I could know who's ghost this is, but there's no evidence whatsoever of who's it is.

I saw my grandpa's Ghost in his bed after his funeral I went up to the house were he used to live and laid in the bed and sorta cried and I say a shadow climb into the bed next to me. :') best experience ever.

i do believe in them. my friend told me too because i guess she had a friend or something that had a ghost in her house or something? i forgot what she was talking about so yeah i do believe in them. also i live in North Tonawanda NY and i have cousins that live in Lock port NY and there's a barn with this place in the back or whatever and that place his haunted. i saw it on TV and the place is almost right near where they live.

I just came back from a ghost tour in Portland, OR and we were given those EMF detectors. We were told the difference between energy waves and electrical interference. I had a blast learning about the different kinds of ghosts, spirits, poltergeists, etc. At the end of the tour, the tour guide told us this story about this guy who made up the fact that this particular place was haunted and wanted other people to test it out. When he gathered a group of people to start investigating, there were massive amounts of paranormal activity in the place when there shouldn't be.
The tour guide asked us if we create the paranormal experience, or do the spirits come to haunt us because we encourage them? Personally, I think something is either there or it's not. If there is activity, then it's there. I don't believe you create something in your mind and have it be detected by concrete matter. That kind of logic doesn't really make sense to me at all. I think that person either didn't know that place was haunted and decided to make up a story about it, or he unintentionally invited ghosts into the place so the place could be haunted. It's just so strange. But I believe in ghosts no matter what. And that tour sort of regained my sense of belief.

I believe in ghosts. I've had some strange expieriences about where I live, and having the ability to see ghosts runs in my family. My little brother Claw, has barely any belief, however, but he does believe that there is a possible way that there might be some sort of being like a ghost. We are Christians, so we have somewhat different beliefs, but we do beleive there is a far greater power out there called God. But I do believe in ghosts.
