9)So I have always had bad luck with my favorite characters dying (they ALWAYS die) But this takes the cake! They kill the master after practically every episode!!!!!! It is quite painful...

You'll find out season 3, I wouldn't want to spoil anything. But that won't give you as good of an explanation as the old show, so it's probably the simplest to say that he is a character that has played a reoccurring role in the show since the 3rd Doctor era, and his past and purpose is vague and occasionally fluctuating. Oh, and he's awesome.

He dies literally EVERY OTHER EPISODE in the old series too. thrown in the Vortex, Burned, Iron-Maiden-ed, Banished, Turned into a Deranged Cheetah, Executed by Dalek, Tossed into the Eye of Harmony, Shot with a Lazar, Shot with a Bullet, and finally, Dragged into the Time-lock.

Well what I liked was that he didn't feel the same way, he was hardly sad when she left XD. But, yeah, old who is pretty great, since its an older show it is more of a subtle funny then the newer stuff, but its still good. (though I will admit I currently mostly watch the old Master eps, they are so great! XD)
