Description I've been knees deep in studio assignments, homework and the whole enchilada lately and while I enjoy having something to do I feel like I barely have time to breathe anymore. Too many things piling up, and on top of all this weekend I caught a nasty cold, just when I have two tests next week in school and on Thursday I'm leaving for a one week long art contest.
I've been lying in bed, sleeping and reading all day, ignoring the pile of unfinished paintings due tomorrow, and doodled an Avery. Between my characters, even though she's definitely the most aggressive, strong and independent, Avery is the one who enjoys being childish once in a while the most.

I sooo love the lineart and colors on this piece. Together they just give the thing a kind of quirky essence to the already vaguely comical image, which really just makes it a pleasure to look at. And as usual, Avery is awesome. I love seeing her and learning more about her.

ohh! I love that fat unicorn! And its eyes! It looks like one of those little sets of googly eyes--you know the kind where you shake them and they roll around? Which would be super perfect on this sort of ride XD

Hehe, I'm glad you like it! OH MAN. I've actually been looking for that kind of shakey goggly eyes to buy since forever, I'm pretty sure I'd stick them over every piece of furniture and book I own heheh XD
