Description
Hehehehehehehehehe. I've had this kinda idea in my head for a while, i love it!The picture explains itself (I hope). The regular guy, kinda likes the heavy music winds up with a trendy "glamour" chick somehow, and while walking down the street spots a real woman! Hehe.
Oh, and the "glamourous" girl is a culmination of all that is horribly trendy, no matter how horrible it looks: the stupid ugly poof, or pomp hairstyle, the trendy huge sunglasses you see everywhere now that just make you look dumb, the horrible orange tan that looks good on NO ONE, the disgusting fake boobs placed a few inches apart on the ribs, and those ugly, scary, long, pointy high-heel shoes! Ick ... What the hell did the cool Rocker guy ever see in this plastic waste of a brain? Damn, i forgot to give her a cigarette to make her even stupider!
I didn't intend this, but it seems to be a funny contrast between skin colours - ORANGE SHOULD ONLY BE A CLOTHING COLOUR, NOT A SKIN COLOUR!!
It goes out to all the paris hilton wannabes: Would you rather look like exhibit B, on the right? *shudder*
or Exhibit A, in the glorious front? *wink wink, raaow!*

While it's wonderful you're comfortable with your own body...
It's not exactly flattering of your own character to so venomously insult how other women choose to look. Weather that be orange skin, muscles or pointy shoes.
You must judge a person on the basis of their character, not appearance. Anything else, is shallow.

When a person spends their entire personality on how they look so that they waste hours of their lives making their skin orange, getting fake boobs, and keeping up with trends, they tend to spend less time educating themselves and making well-rounded human beings of themselves. All the time they waste on their outside could be spent building an awesome inside, but society's focus is to make people buy their products, even if it means inventing insecurities and shoving them at women.
I am a skinny man. I drew this because i am sick of so many women thinking they have to conform to a certain kind of beauty in such a way as to damage their bodies and their health just to "appear" attractive on the outside. Natural beauty should always be preferred. But it isn't. And that pisses me off.
The skinny woman in this drawing is clearly not naturally that thin, or naturally that chesty (i drew the boobs specifically for the difference).
I am attracted to some skinny women, if they are naturally so, and geeky, but skinny women get the spotlight all the time. This is not to insult skinny women, just fake ones.

No I'm sorry thats still a very shallow way of thinking. I don't care who you're attracted to but to bash people because they choose to dress and look is just wrong.
And I saw that you also belittle people with eating disorders as well. Thats not cool man.
A woman is beautiful when she is true to herself. Not when she confirms to what some 'skinny guy' thinks what a real woman should look like.

It's not to belittle women with eating disorders, but to inform women they don't NEED to put themselves into positions to create these eating disorders, because there's beauty to appreciate in all natural sizes.
Fakeness without art should always be shamed. Natural beauty should always be cherished.
Call that "shallow" but you'd be reversing the definition of the word.

Big girl's outfit is beautiful, and those flipfops are adorable, can just imagine them slapping along as she walks along jiggling. Excellent skirt and tanktop, cutest look.

I guess to each their own. I suppose i'll just never understand finding anorexia and the desire to have the skin of an oompah loompah, plus everything else faked, to be "beautiful"...

Some women cry themselves to sleep at night because they're insecure about not being curvy enough. I get your point and all, but what about lean (Not bony) women with small boobs? And do you believe that fat acceptance is for men too?

LimeGreenSquid In reply to Itoruna-The-Platypus [2014-05-06 18:30:13 +0000 UTC]
I have nothing against natural beauty. There is nothing natural about the stick woman with fake boobs, fake lips, hideous giant sunglasses and cigarette.
I am very attracted to some naturally thin women, too. And i do often draw small boobs (granted they're on big girls, so it can be hard to tell, but i've had big gfs with small boobs and so i learned to include them, too).
But it has to be natural. If it's the product of someone forcing themselves to be thin, then it's fake. If their whole lives are centered around how skinny they can get that they forget to be intelligent, caring people, then i am turned off.
But when it's natural, it's natural. I'm naturally thin. I'm getting to the age where i can possibly gain more weight now, but all my life you couldn't add any weight to me. Always around 130-160lbs.
And of course i believe in fat acceptance for men, too. The kind in response to undeserved criticism, like those who are big yet still active and always on the go, or those who are big because of a side effect of a life-saving medication. Not everyone is fat because of laziness. Many are, and those i oppose.
I am just not personally attracted to men, and this is my art. I am personally attracted to bigger women, and it sickens me that bigger women get shit on just because they are big, when they are human beings who are so much more than that, so i focused on this one thing, and doing this one thing really well. And i enjoy it.
I don't enjoy drawing much else. There are 7 billion of us, whatever i am leaving out i am sure one of them will pick it up, and represent it.
I stand for those who are bullied by popular opinion.
Yes, skinny girls get flack, but it's only ever, "Should eat a sandwich, string-bean, etc..." - just annoying unwanted advice that can be irritating, but no one wants you to just die a horrible death if you're skinny. It's no where near the seething hatred fat women get.

Wow... Without sounding like a suckup I think you have some strong points. It is frustrating to see bigger people getting picked on, and living in Atlanta, I saw all of those fat shaming "Children's Healthcare" billboards in person. Even before I took into account how bigger people tend to face oppression, accusing all chubby children of obesity didn't seem right. But aside from that, while I personally am not into BBW's as a drawing subject I do have a newfound respect for them.

Hehe, yah i was definitely going for that Paris Hilton wannabe type look for exhibit B, with those ugly giant yellow bug-eye sunglasses that were popular at the time and then i added the fake boobs and lip-job.
I haven't really heard that one as much as Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls" but i definitely appreciate the song!

I'm afraid both exhibit are frightening. Exhibit B for all the slap and fakery, Exhibit A for being unhealthy, and both for being improperly attired. But as I understand Exhibit A is your thing so go on with your bad self.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
LimeGreenSquid In reply to osamaya [2010-11-14 22:47:50 +0000 UTC]
I'm a skinny guy who walks a lot. I had a girlfriend about the same size and she was able to out-walk me - for longer times and at a faster pace. And i walk pretty fast myself. Her cholesterol or calorie levels (i never know which is which, i tend not to pay attention to diet stuff - the "bad fats/whatevers") were also lower than mine.
Size does not always determine level of health. Don't fall into that trap. There are obviously extremes in both directions and limits, but the woman depicted in this drawing is nowhere near what it takes to be automatically deemed "unhealthy."
Besides, in our society it's not really necessary for everyone to be absolute athletes anymore, anyway, right?

osamaya In reply to LimeGreenSquid [2010-11-16 18:40:02 +0000 UTC]
I know size doesn't really indicate health, but at the same time it's hard to believe your exhibit A is as healthy as you want me to believe. Even your exhibit B looks a bit emaciated. But these are stylized cartoons, not actual people, so no big deal.
But as it stands, I still don't think A looks healthy. Happy and proud, yes, beautiful in your eyes, but not healthy (and still inappropriately attired) in mine. But as I said before, this is your thing and you're doing you, so props to that.
