Hehehehehehehehehe. I've had this kinda idea in my head for a while, i love it!The picture explains itself (I hope). The regular guy, kinda likes the heavy music winds up with a trendy "glamour" chick somehow, and while walking down the street spots a real woman! Hehe.
Oh, and the "glamourous" girl is a culmination of all that is horribly trendy, no matter how horrible it looks: the stupid ugly poof, or pomp hairstyle, the trendy huge sunglasses you see everywhere now that just make you look dumb, the horrible orange tan that looks good on NO ONE, the disgusting fake boobs placed a few inches apart on the ribs, and those ugly, scary, long, pointy high-heel shoes! Ick ... What the hell did the cool Rocker guy ever see in this plastic waste of a brain? Damn, i forgot to give her a cigarette to make her even stupider!
I didn't intend this, but it seems to be a funny contrast between skin colours - ORANGE SHOULD ONLY BE A CLOTHING COLOUR, NOT A SKIN COLOUR!!
It goes out to all the paris hilton wannabes: Would you rather look like exhibit B, on the right? *shudder*

I don't think size determines a real woman as this somewhat implies but the bigger girl is much better because she looks comfortable with herself while the skinny girl spends thousands of dollars of fake tans and boobs and too many hours in the gym a day

Only to people who were raised forced to think that way. It's a pitty so many people are slaves of popular opinion, and if they weren't told from the beginning that something perverted and disturbing (dragging a metal blade across one's skin to remove natural hair) is normal, and not something just weirdos do. Now it's reversed, the natural is seen as bizarre and perverted - such a sick and twisted world this is.

Just cuz its natural doesant mean its beutiful. Besides, everyone has their own opinion of beauty, you think fat girls are pretty and i think skinny girls are pretty, neither of us is "right" its up to individuals. And no offence but your stereotyping horribly aswell. I dont think YOUR idea of whats beautiful counts as a "real" girl anymore than any other type of woman out there.

Mr. Squid, sir? Would you make a comix series please? It would make me very happy, and I know I'm not the only one. Plus it would make you rich. This pic could be one character of many, one storyline of many - there are lots of comix that change characters and styles/genres within each issue even - so as to draw out character development and storyline. Have you ever read Love & Rockets? They would change art style and storylines and genre... in each and every issue. Your entire gallery could all be part of the same comix series... (gosh, I'm long-winded. maybe you already know all this and have it planned for later. I'll get off now.)

I've honestly thought of doing some form of size-positive comics, as i used to want to make super hero comics when i was younger, but i just don't have the patience or the drive to draw a single character more than once on a page, and several frames of other characters and actions and all that. I've tried, but i end up becoming tired of it, and then finishing it quickly and sloppily.
I'd love to have that patience and drive, but all i got is for a single image here and there, but usually with enough going on for there to be a full story happening in there somewhere, hehe.
I do want to draw more of this theme, though.
But thank you very much for thinking my work is good enough for that, hehe. If i had someone who could do the busy work for me, and i'd just design the characters, that might be cool - i do like writing, and making stories. But i can't be bothered to be chained to a pencil and a single piece of paper for very long, haha.

Hehe, yup. I definitely tried to put as much as i knew was "popular" and yet hideouely ugly into the trend-whore.
I need to make more themed like this (at least having a guy admiring a natural woman, possibly again choosing to admire the natural woman over the fake one again). They set my message clear between the eyes, i think, hehe.

Well, i don't find armpit hair gross, myself - in fact i find it sexy. And it's not contradictory to what i am trying to convey - natural beauty. Girls naturally grow hair under their arms - and shaving that is unnatural and a stupid social double-standard that puts yet another extra, unfair stress on women that they really don't need.
So i try to portray full true beauty - natural plump bodies, natural long head hair, natural body hair, etc... it's the only definition of beauty to me...
