Yeah. Him and Raven have so much more in common than she knows, eh? Not sure which is worse.... Raven's dad seeking global destruction, or Beast Boy having lost control of his powers as a kid and killing his loving parents.

You must have read that in a fic or something because that did not happen. They were on a boat that was going over a water fall and Gar changed into a bird so he could fly away but he couldn't become one big enough to save his parents so he had to watch them die. He still felt guilt but he didn't actually kill them or lose control of his powers.

Haha. Yours actually makes more sense anyway. They really need to update his origin. I image that being bitten by a green monkey may have flown for the crowd of the 60's, which was when BB was first introduced, but now it just seems silly.

Well, it was more than that. The green monkey just caused an illness. That when combined with an attempted cure caused the mutation.

I actually just found out about this today myself. Apparently he's been abducted, tortured, and experimented on for several years in a death/boot camp.
I'm very curious to see what his personality is like now considering those events.
