Description I might do 2 more of these and toss them in the Art Auctions at Animazement and AWA this year. Haven't quite decided yet.


Regardless, I was reeeeeally wanting to take a shot at drawing "Hichigo".
He's such a fun little freak.


And LOOK!!! 8D I found my white gel pen!! *points to signature*




...at this point, I'd like for us all to take a moment of silence and mourn the premature demise of my poor little black Prisma marker.... *sniffle*

Glad ya mentioned that Hollow-mask eye! (You're the first one to say anything about it! XD) I actually almost decided to leave the eye out altogether, but I thought it'd be a fun little addition. I never expected it to turn out as CREEPY as it did though. O_o;;

Oh, definitely! XD It's the same thing as that "Ryuumon Houzukimaru" CG I did earlier-- I didn't originally plan on it being that creepy (Ikkaku's expression, in the other case), but it actually works better that way.

I was actually kind of unsure what to do with the background (namely, the yellow behind "Hichigo"). I was wanting to make it the same red color as on the mask, but I thought that might be too overwhelming. So I just used the same color as I base-colored Hichigo's eye.

He's just so funny sometimes! One of his favorite toys was a little spinning double-sided mirror. Every time I'd walk down the stairs, or walk by his cage at all, he'd run across his perch and smack that little mirror.
...
The funny thing was one day when he was in the middle of stretching. ^^ I walked by, and he had his left leg out and his wing stretched out over his leg. He tried to smack that mirror at the same time, and nearly fell off the perch. =w=;;

(For Christmas, we got him a new one-- same kind of toy, but with THREE double-sided mirrors. XD)

Gah! I am horrible at shading anything that has black tint to it. I'm meaning how you shadowed Hichigo's face and Ichigo's clothes. And his sword! *faints*

Yeah, I...uh...never upgraded. I don't have anything from the "CS" series...
(I just couldn't justify spending a hundred or more bucks on an upgrade, just for a couple new filters or whatever. I used CS3 all last semester in Web Design, and there were so few differences between it and my PS7 that it would just be pointless of me to upgrade yet. )

Yes it does. Just and this might be a flaw with the programing in the paid and unpaied ones; don't watch videos on yahoo's launch site. I think adobe's flash player is messing with photoshop. I wasn't able to save my files.

Yep, that's pretty much it! Basically, Hollows are a type of soul... Since Ichigo is a living human (and thus has a soul), his soul has a "Hollow" side to it. So, "Hichigo" is kind of like the dark half of himself.
(He's a total crackpot though. X3 He's so much fun. )

Oh, being used to drawing Bleach didn't make it much easier! XD Before that mask, I'd only drawn the characters, so I'd never actually drawn any props from the show (except their weapons). It didn't really take that long, but I did have to redraw it a time or two...
