Description
Remember that sketch I did Jack Frost. - [link]
Well here's the result I've been working on it off and on. Experimenting with style, drawing it, and coloring it. I was bored today so I decided to finish it. XD
IDK how this looks I think it turned out good but seriously I have no experience with coloring other then DP style. I'm still learning.
I would love some feedback and to know what you guys think of this. *hint...hint*

I totally love that you're experimenting with non-DP stuff! Danny Phantom style is super fun (especially when one has so many ideas with the characters!), but it definitely helps to branch out a lot and it's a solid beginning.
I dig the color scheme and how he's upside-down!
Some general ideas for experimenting with your own style would be to study human anatomy and how stuff works in real life. Find some stock on dA and try drawing the figures, draw people at the park or mall, or draw your friends from their Facebook profiles. Even a little bit can help your style develop into something more believable and balanced (even if it's still "simple" and cartoony). Plus, studying life takes you to the "source" of cartoon drawings, kinda like how Toph learned Earthbending from badgermoles!

Through you fail in other styles, you did it so well in DP style

It's not supposed to in the DP style *is kicked* Actually I'm experimenting at coming up with my own style. Though admittedly it has remnants of the butch hartman stle. LOL Thanks so much buddy I still want to draw the Rise of the Guardian gang in DP style but I'll wait till I finish with the next chapter of Adrian Spook xD

O.o
Color!!!
I love this! Awesome work Big Sis!
Hm... Something tells me that I should give a little feedback...
Right. First of all, I love how you blended your shades and your lights. You can definitely tell where the light source is coming from. I also like how you shaded the background; and how the stars are dimmer and smaller the farther away they are.
Okay, now the thing you should work on is how intense the shadows are. An example: the inside of the hood should be a darker blue than the rest of the hoodie (unless Jack's hair's glowing). Or on the opposite side of where the light is coming from.
Other than that, this is an awesome piece. I love how Jack is upside-down instead of right-side up. That alone adds uniqueness and draws the viewer in. You also get a sense of movement throughout the piece.
Um... Sorry about all of that.
I blame college critiques... XP

THANK YOU!!! THIS IS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I really really wanted this as odd as that sounds it made my day!!
I knew I was forgetting something. Hmm intensity of the shadows makes sense I'll try to see what I can do next time.
IKR I thought I needed to experiment with something different we always see Jack right side up I'll be he'd look cute that way too. Uniqueness huh? I like that! Ooh yes the background I wanted to something a little above average for it. So I'm glad it works. The stars are actually supposed to be snow but either works XD
Thanks so much again dA Sis I love good critiques but I so rarely get them! They are extremely helpful!
