15 x 30 Oil - Ricewalker and the Smashing Quail was done while really into lintening to the Smashing Pumpkins while painting. So I did a tribute to their inspiration to me with the cover of "Meloncoly and the Infinate sadness" in the wagon wheel and the helmet on my quail. (the chick were hatched from my Quail Rider eggs from the "Ricewalker and the Quail Riders").Related content

i also like this one, because its unusual kind of surrealism to me, and the thingy on the chicks head reminds me on "Bosch"...
its a pitty, that the smashing pumpkins are dead...
i think youยดve catched the mood of the music very well.

Very interesting. I love this work. You did a great job not only painting it, but thinking about it. I really like how the sky and the wall are one, and how the white sand sort of looks like ocean waves. I'm just sorry I can't see beyond half the opening of the arched opening in the wall. It makes me want to explore this world more, to see what other interesting things are to be seen. Great job.
