Wow. This is gorgeous, and it is a perfect match for how I feel sometimes - one bad though leads to a seemingly bottomless pit of misery. That sounded pretty melodramatic, but it looks like you know that I mean. Nice work.

I don't think that sounds melodramatic at all, but pretty much is an accurate description of what being depressed can feel like!
Sorry you have to go through this every now and then, but I also think it's nice that you can relate to this piece!

I think long, stretched shapes in monsters are certainly creepier than short, rounded extremities, it channels the whole uneasiness idea certainly better! The longer and more exxagerated extremities are, the more uncanny we feel about a creature (example: spiders and their super long legs)
HEH, I'm glad you caught the infinity loop reference! I Wanted to adress how spiraling down into this mess can hold you up for infinity if you do not manage to break out of it!
