Description
"Frodo gazed fixedly at the red embers on the hearth, until they filled all his vision, and he seemed to be looking down into profound wells of fire. He was thinking of the fabled Cracks of Doom and the terror of the Fiery Mountain."-The Fellowship of the Ring, p. 61
Finally finished. Finally. I started this piece in July originally for a contest, ran out of time, then had to set it aside for awhile. I ran into many challenges *cough* perspective *cough* foreshortening *cough*, but I'm glad I finally got it to a place where I'm okay with the final design, even if it's not perfect.
