Description
Sort of a reimagining of one of my octopus-girls from this old drawing: [link]Itβs been ten weeks since I posted any coloured drawings, so I figured this would be a nice quick way of practicing those techniques. Unfortunately I forgot how much trouble tentacles are to organise! But Iβm happy with how she turned out. I should try to draw her more often.
Any thoughts on a name for her?

I haven't gone through your work in a while... but I'm glad I did some searching and found this piece! She really came out very well, and I am in envy of your water-lighting skills. As for a name, I can probably think up a few on the spot... Kaliya? Teshina? Shaline? Teliya? Shasheena?

Sorry, I forgot that part! I really like octo girl as the name for her species, but want to come up with something different for her first name. Like 'Kendra the Octo-girl'

Having people fap to your work... can any artist receive higher praise???
Iβm glad you like her! I must give her a name and draw her more often. My gallery could use more tentacle-monster-mermaid-girls

Thank you so much, that means a lot to me, Candy! All the fat mermaids Iβve seen so far have been fantastic and inspirational. She was a lot of fun to work on, so Iβll have to do more with her

Octopi are actually pretty smart for invertebrates. They're smart enough to use rocks to crack open shellfish. And also, YAAAAAY! Can't wait to see it!

And apparently they can learn to open jars to get at the food inside
And the sketch is done: [link]

Tentacles are a nightmare; how you managed to gather enough patience for them is beyond me. Nicely done!
