I also felt the romance was completely forced in LOK, which wasn't what I felt at all in ATLA. In fact, I was happy with every ATLA ship...

Yeah. After the one-eighty that was Katara's feelings toward Aang and the.....incompatability that was Makorra, I'm very glad we can ship Korra and Asami what we want, because the creators don't own us.
