They did try to cram too much into those 12 episodes. Everything felt rushed. This is a very sweet picture but I'm thinking about boarding the Lin/Asami ship.

Yeah, precisely. I liked that it felt very teenage-y, though. People do make mistakes when they're teenagers. But I got the feeling that I would have liked it better if they took it slower and developed them first.

Lin was *such* a kickass character, so I understand the Asami/Lin appeal!

I was somewhat surprised by the fast pace and forced nature of LoK. After A:TLA had shown that their audience was capable of following a story set out over 60 episodes, why did they feel the need to cram this story into 12?

That aside, I came back to this pic and had a good long look. I really like the way you contrasted the skin tones and Asami's expression. (sweet and yet very possessive.) The details of the clothing and the simple background elevate the whole thing.

The romance did feel forced. The other problem was that Asami didn't get enough character development. I wanted her and Korra to be besties!!

I agree! But to be fair they only had twelve episodes, so they didn't have that much time to develop them. But still, a little more development would've been nice.

It's true I guess. But now they've got forty more episodes to work with so they should have plenty of room for development!

I just hope they don't change the pace - I know it was pretty fast, but I LOVED how it was all story and little to no filler, unlike Avatar was.

And this piece is adorable by the way. I love your coloring style as well.
