Description
This is an AU, in which teenager Lily and Snape might have been friends based on their James-dislike.I imaged the note would say something like "If you have nothing good to say about James, come sit next to me." Only, you know, worded differently.
The colors were an experiment. That doesn't excuse them, mind, but I figured you'd all be glad to know I'm going back to my usual method on the next picture.

Hey... I just wanted to say that all the people out there, including the artist, who foresaw the revelation of Snape's total, all-consuming, love so powerful that he was willing to die for her memory in the Deathly Hallows... bravo.

AU stands for "alternative universe", often used when people branch out of the written text without solid support that it happened (or will ever happen). "Canon" is a term used for events that already occured in the book-universe.
