Description
This is an AU, in which teenager Lily and Snape might have been friends based on their James-dislike.I imaged the note would say something like "If you have nothing good to say about James, come sit next to me." Only, you know, worded differently.
The colors were an experiment. That doesn't excuse them, mind, but I figured you'd all be glad to know I'm going back to my usual method on the next picture.

I absolutely love your Severus Snape - you make him true to canon, but there's just something so attractive about him. I personally like this style of coloring; after all, its always good to occasionally deviate from what you're comfortable with/used to doing. Good work!

Again, you are like the queen of shading. I especially like the extra sheen you give Snape's hair. I think the nose you gave him was a little too perfect though.

Very nice...I kinda like the different coloring style...I think the note maybe could've been a little more shadowed to show they're operating in secret or whatever, but then again it is the subject of the piece....

I kept meaning to comment in your LJ . . . I really like this concept. I love it when people do things with Lily (she doesn't get fanned enough), and the idea of a relationship of any sort with Snape has always been particularly intruiging to me. The sneaky feeling of this piece is fabulous! One small crit: Lily's hand seems to be as long as her forearm.

I would think the note says something liek don't let them get you down, and maybe a secret about a time James was humiliated, and then outta respect for Lily for standing up to James and being nice to him then he never tells and just keeps it inside as a personal pick me up. That is why we nevber hear about it in the books

Personally, I think this is beautiful. And I think Snape/Lily is probably one of the only canon pairings I can see in the HP books. <3 That would explain his pure disgust with Harry -- I know it's got to be more than just from his hatred of James. <3
