When the first rays of the sun expel the gloomy night, and the light of the lighthouse ceases, a new day breaks upon Kallur. A landmark on the island of Kalsoy, which belongs to the 18 islands of the Faroe Islands. A breathtaking view.Related content

That dawning sun, just poking itself above the horizon, shedding beautiful russet light and casting marvelous shadows is just an amazing sight.
The way the cone of reflected light leads down over the sea drawing the eye to the edge of the island in the foreground is marvelous.
The darker tones of early light on the sunward side of the island really work nicely against the more matte colours outside of the direct sunlight. The lighthouse sits like a little pearl in an oyster.
Overall, I think you composition and placement of the island in the foreground is stunning, though that high dark cliff does draw force the eye back towards the better lit part of the image, leaving the right hand side cool and mysterious seeming.

Haha, gut wir sind einfach am Folgetag noch mal wieder gekommen, da man schon damals leider nicht dort übernachten durfte. Aber ich würde da auch gerne mal ne Nacht verbringen

Wenn du das machen willst, nimm bitte eine Decke oder etwas mit, was dich vom Boden trennt. Wir dachten wir nehmen nichts mit, man kann sich ja einfach auf die Wiese legen. Bon wegen! Da oben ist alles komplett von den Schaffen verschissen. Man glaub es nicht, aber da liegt eine Tretmine an der anderen dran. Wir haben an einigen Stellen die Tretminen so gut es geht entfernt, um uns irgendwo anzulehnen, oder auch hinzusetzen. Aber richtig hinlegen war da nicht so einfach. :-D Es war jedenfalls ein schöner Moment, als die Sonne aufgegangen ist.

Haha, ich würde schon mein normales Hikingzeug mitnehmen was ich sonst auch zum Übernachten in den Bergen mitnehme, also IsoMatte und so. Aber ja die Tretminen waren schon immer ein Problem. Das hat uns damals auch immer etwas gestört
