The Borg probably got the idea of the tactical cube from fighting species that could easily combat their normal cubes.

Not only that, they can take almost 200 photon torpedoes and *not* die (in "Star Trek Legacy," at least)... >_<

they can take more then that with QUAMTUM torpedoes in STO! luckily since it is a dreadnaught there will be a fleet with you when you fight it
