Oil on canvas board, this angel was done with a little influence for Van Gogh's Starry Night, although I Was not looking at it at the time. It is called sleeping sun, as though the angel were the sun, shrouded by her wings of night time, surrounded by the stars, with her hair composing clouds. I imagine her waking and beginning to glow, and stretching her arms like the first rays of dawn.
