Description
Painted in oils on gesso board, this painting was supposed to be a companion to autumn slumber. I was going to do all four seasons, one in each style, but as usual got sidetracked. I was hoping to do one in the Rackham style and one maybe in digital till my Painter program no longer meshed with my system upgrades.Related content

Wow, that's wonderful. I love how the folds in the dress sort of reflects the style of the leaves without making the dress out of leaves like the ones so many other fairies are drawn with... I also now suddenly want to take a nap...
