Description
This drawing started out as simply the simple concept sketch for the Cancer painting in the Zodiac Series, that has been sitting in my sketchbook for a couple years, but when my friend Stacy saw it the second Sunday at the 2010 Ga Renfest, she fell in love with it and wanted me to finish it. "If only there were a unicorn in it", she said, because she loves mermaids and unicorns. So voila!

I really like the motion between the two characters and because I gave them both such long tails, and they are both stuff of legend or tall tales... the name stuck.

Stacy took home the original and was kind enough to scan it so I could share it with the rest of you.
