Liliai is a sweet, doe-eyed little mare who comes off both innocent and lively. She seems young even for her age, and is sometimes almost childlike in her behavior. Liliai is very emotive, both in a sense that she feels a lot, and shows her feelings easily. She tends to take new things and horses very open-hearted, and let her heart decide more than her head. She isn’t stupid, she just usually doesn’t stop and consider for too long about the consequences.

Liliai seems to always be doing something, and is endlessly curious about the world around her. She loves to keep on the move, and gets easily bored and restless if everything stays the same. She feels there is too much to learn and see, and if she could have it her way, she would love to experience it all. She gets very antsy and sometimes even borderline rude if things move and happen too slow, as she would much rather have everything right now.
Despite her free and merry soul, she does respect authority, at least most of the time. She wouldn't be defiant on purpose, but she can be a bit thoughtless at times. In her life the most important person is her brother, and she has complete trust that everything will be okay, as long as he is around. She isn’t at all confrontational, and if she really wants something, tends to rather quietly nudge things that way instead of putting her feet down. She is usually a bit shy around strangers, but gets over that fairly easily.

Liliai is a sensitive creature, and everything around her tends to affect her greatly. She is always quick to mirror the feelings of others, and loves to help however she can. Sometimes, though, she struggles to understand more deep problems, as her way of viewing the world is rather idealistic and she loves to believe the best out of everyone at first. She is very eager about her rank as a Medic, learning as much as she can and helping as many equines as possible.

History:
Liliai was born on a gentle, sunny morning, and her mother always said it was like the whole world smiled that morning. Her mother, Ranya, was always endlessly patient and loving with her little daughter, and quietly took abuse from her father Sverrir, as long as her foal was left untouched. Sverrir was an older, ill-tempered stallion with much greater plans than he was actually worth, and he expected his multiple wives to live by his dreams and wishes without a complaint. Ranya was very careful at protecting her daughter and keeping her innocent spark alive despite life being sometimes very rough on the whole family.

Liliai was small when she first met her brother Njall, he was bigger, braver and had so many interesting stories to tell. Njall was Sverrir's first born, from a family he had once abandoned, but able bodied enough to be deemed useful by Sverrir now that he was older. Liliai soon grew very fond of Njall, and always felt very safe when he was around. With her mother and her brother both shielding her from Sverrir, she was able to grow and blossom.
Only when Njall was forced to leave once he continuously fought with their father, was Liliai experiencing loneliness. She had other siblings, but it did feel like there was a big hole only her brother could fill. She turned more inwards with her thoughts and was shyer towards the world whenever Sverrir was around, but luckily her father was away with different jobs quite long periods at a time. As long as she did as she was told and fit into a traditional role for a filly, her father showed fairly little interest in her. Her mother was a Medic, and spent her days teaching her daughter about her rank and different types of herbs and remedies. Njall came around every now and then, and Liliai always looked forward to his visits. Even in darker times, she would just wait and hope, and the world seemed a lot brighter when Njall was around to share his fantastic stories of the world.

That was until Liliai reached the mark of adulthood, and her father decided she should be married to one of his friends. Liliai was horrified – the stallion was old, around the same age as her father, and similar in manners as well. When Njall came around and heard the same news, it didn’t take much convincing for Liliai to run away with him. The world outside the little family was strange for her, but she trusted her brother to keep them safe. And finally free from the shadow of Sverrir, Liliai soon again blossomed to the sweet and curious mare she always was.

Liliai and Njall kept on the move, keeping mostly towards countryside but visiting Skeldr for supplies, and much needed guidance for Liliai. Liliai would gather bits and pieces of information along the way, staying in one place for a moment to learn and then continuing onwards. Njall took the role of a protector immediately, working as a Raider on the side and choosing their places of stays depending a bit where he could find tasks and jobs to do. As Liliai's escape is a recent event, they are still learning and figuring things out as they go. It doesn't seem like their father is trying to find them, as he has other offspring and Njall would be difficult to fight. After the initial anxiety Liliai was able to calm down, and not keep staring over her shoulder constantly.
