This game was alright, I think there could have been better or more worked on aspects of the game...
If you were excited to get your hands on this game, how are you sitting with "Capcom Vs Marvel 3" ???

I'm always excited for the crossover games. Marvel Vs Capcom 3 looks so incredible, I watch the same trailers every day and still geek out over it. Tatsunoko Vs Capcom has got to be the best one for me (Gameplay wise). In MvC 1, there were infinite air combos that would make you leave the stage and you would just sorta give up and watch your life go down.
In MvC2, that problem was fixed, but certain characters were just plain better than the others. Magneto, Storm, Sentinel, Iron Man, Tron Bonne, and a few others were just the best. Using anyone but them is seen as a joke.
Capcom vs SNK was just bad though. They tried to balance it out, but Capcom's characters were just too good to go up against a game that relies so heavily on the special moves.
In TvC, it's balanced (Minus the huge characters) and the guard crush break thingy helps prevent infinites. That, and the shin shoryuken is so AWESOME! (fan boy moment, sorry ) The overexagerated moves and the BILLION DAMAGE system is a great factor in it. That, and the fact that Tatsunoko never had a fighter before helped with the perfect balance of the game.
Though alot of people wanted more characters, and some characters are unneeded and unwanted (Not many people care about Roll or Yatterman 2)
So in the end, as the "VS SERIES" goes on, it gets better and better! MvC looks a little hectic with the combos and such, but it's I still have high hopes!

I wonder when they'll release a gameplay trailer for "Tekken Vs Street fighter" Namco's version!

Oh man. I JUST played tekken 6 the other day, and I'm very excited to see how they'll encorperate the streetfighter cast into their 3-d play style! I'm getting giddish just thinking about it!

It just made me go wild the moment i heard there was a Street Fighter vs Tekken, and when i heard that Namco was going to make their own version with the tekken 6 style, i nearly ran through the wall with excitement, I am a fan of both games, and it just sent chills up my spine seeing Kazuya and Nina in the SSF4 design, but I feel the same I can wait until i get to see how they fit the SF guys into the T6 style, haha seriously just talking about it has gotten me just as giddish and now i wanna fight someone and do a shoryuken! LOL

Shoryuken has got to be my favorite move in all the the series. Especially the shin shoryuken. In Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, Ryu's shin shoryuken makes me scream every time. I am such a SUPER GEEK when I manage to hit with it. Knowing that Streetfighter characters are now going to be playing on a 3-D field has made me nervous and skeptical and excited and thrilled at the same time, causing me to pretty much do this ==> when I think about how they're going to pull it off.
I've never been good at 3d fighters, though I'm alright at Soul Calibur 4. Tekken has always been the starting point of 3D fighting for me, and when I play, I usually end up pulling off some nice strings, but I've never been... You know, GOOD at it. I can't brag about my skill like I do with TvC or SSFIV.

I would have to say in the verses games i love the Shinku Hadouken!!!
It looks like a freaking kamahamaha! which blasts across the whole screen!
But honestly when i pull off really bad ass combo's like the shinku shoryuken with shinki hadouken and string it out with a hurricane kick and tones of other strikes in between i can't help but say "heh ohhhhh shit!" haha
But i'm with you on the head explosion my friend!
I am not bad at 3d fighters, i'll admit i'm not the best, but with fighting games i do hold up my own, i think it just comes with the typical interest of mine, so it just makes me pop when thinking about all these new fighting games coming....
These for sure are going to be hot titles coming out soon, but just imagine the titles we'll see in our lifetime... It really makes you wanna blow something up and dance around the flames! lol

Yeah, the shinku hadoukens are so MASSIVE, and AWESOME! I love to cancel hurricane kicks into them, and if timed right, I can do two of them and they combo! You time it right, and you can do it JUST above the ground, and then do it right as you touch the ground!
Whenever I pull off big combos, I start to rant and scream things that don't make sense really... I kinda say things yipes would say... "It's marvel baybeh!" "Oh snap! Old school!" and the like.
Or sometimes I just say "OH!" for EVERY hit I do, which can get funny, because it ends up like "OHOHOHOHOH! OH! OH OH! OOOH!!!!"
And then I laugh. But when I'm losing I do the same thing XD
I'm not so good at 3D fighters. I really can't wait until Capcom just unloads all their characters on the world, and we have the ultimate collab of fighters!

BTW I think Tatsunoko and Capcom doesn't make a good cross over,and i'm not a huge fan of Tatsunoko,I got the game but I don't like how they look in the game,they look very mysterious,but i really like Tekkaman's moves

It's too bad that Tatsunoko's different series all have licensing issues that will make it just as impossible to release overseas as Jump Superstars and Jump Ultimate Stars. It looks like we'll be having to import this game, no matter what.

Anyway, the game looks six times better than even Marvel vs Capcom 2! Not only does the game bring back the traditional gameplay, but gamers can pull off some famous Tatsunoko moves whilst enjoying the graphical and sound quality at the same time! There's a possibility that it could kicks Street Fighter IV's ass all the way to Corneria (although Street Fighter IV looks like a very good game too)...

I think both TvC and SFIV are really good looking and capture alot of what fighting games need. that along with SNK's KOFXII and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion should usher in the fighting age again!
