Landscape 12002
copperplate print on paper
I was spring cleaning and found 2 printed landscapes Ive forgot about..... made these during my time at an artschool in 2002, made by smearing paint on to the copperplate and then wipeing off different areas of paint and then printing them (making it impossible to print the same image twice)

The cloud effect is really good, Iv only done this once but i think youv come out with a better effect. Its a pity that you could only do it once though but i understand why.
Its really nice so...well done!

I have spare plates. I will definitely try this. I love this, it's like a little charcoal painting. So you completely cover the plate in paint and then wipe away? What did you use to wipe the paint away? I can't get enough of this and am most interested.

It's an interesting effect, I'm never heard of that technique before.
