Description
When I first played Fortress I decided to write up a kind of blog thing, akin to Livin' In Oblivion (google it) to see how long it actually takes to improve in a game that technically has no learning curve whatsoever. It was to be called ' Project Ubermensch' and it was dropped spectacularly quickly. I picked it back up during Valve's free play weekend, the the result is seven weird little reports on one hopeless Medic-player's spectacularly awful missions, to be parceled out over the four days.I'm trying to be funny in them, so watch out for that.

Log 4:
aka Adventures in Tinitus-Land, aka My Favourite One. Illustrating this was so enjoyable, I just can't express it in words. Oh, and Fortress on the computer is pi-r-squared-times-infinity more noisy than it is on the PS3, mainly because my speakers surround, and are thirty centimetres from, my head.

I've noticed the german accenting has worn off. Oh well, this is still a pleasure to read.

Entschuldigung mir bitte? Dort sind sieben (vielleicht)Deutsches Worter.
But no, there aren't so many German phrases, nor medical phrases, now that I think about it.
But there are umlauts. Many many hand-drawn umlauts.

*Dummkopf* Im not even sure I spelled that right.
I know very little german I'm afraid. A friend of mine has become quite fluient, and adores the medic for his morbid sense of humor and his accent.
I liked the first 2 logs, they had alot more medicy' stuff and german jokes- felt more IC.

Your friend reminds me of...er...myself.
Anyway, I agree with you on the first two logs; the medical-und-Deutsch jokes are much less frequent in the later ones, and while we're on the subject the logs are shorter and technically less happens in them. I think the absence of medicery is down to the fact that a)I stop pinning German nomenclature on everyone at around Log 3 (I don't know why) and b)I stop describing anatomically-accurate modes of death at around the same time. I didn't notice it until now, when it's to all intents and purposes too late, but I can still sneak in something for the special edition DVD, I suppose.
On the other hand, and this is a really conceited and faceitous argument, the narrator is a player, not the Medic, so technically anything written herein is in-character. I still agree with you, though.

Especially if they're paired with that darling litte Schafer's S.
Good to know, though.
