This scene has a lot of thought in it that I see. The symbolic philosophy of lost and sorrow come to mind first. The key on the ground with some pine around is suggestive of the woods. An almost warm emptiness can be found in the colors, even though a metal key suggests cold. It has a feeling of somberness, maybe fear creeping into the mind. The colors of the fauna in this keep the sinking feeling away, even with the aforementioned sense of loss. The feeling expressed in this critique, were those of me when I was about 8 or 9 and lost in the woods. Very well done, and thanks for the memory.
