(Do not ask me what all those symbols mean. I have no idea.)I desperately needed a break from reference sheets, so here's some of my Derpy/Master headcanon.
If Derpy had been human, she would have been a brilliant physicist. Since Equestria doesn't have much use for this, she's a mailmare with "useless" knowledge.
The Master, upon arriving in Equestria, rented a room from Derpy. After a few days of ignoring her affections, he realized she was probably one of the most intelligent ponies he'd met. Enough to somewhat tolerate her as an assistant.
Derpy is happy because not only is this a pony who finally understands her, but he also pays part of his rent in muffins.

So you've got a function where the velocity is constant, using its momentum to calculate the mass, factoring in air pressure, and some sort of wave....

Well, at least she looks happy while she's talking about a destructive power of an asteroid(?) crashing into... wherever (I don't watch MLP) at terminal velocity.

I'm not sure how accurate the equations are... my last physics class was four years ago. But the (sigma)F = 0 says that the sum of the forces acting on an object is zero. Force is equal to mass x acceleration, so the object either has no mass or the total acceleration is zero: constant velocity (holding still means the velocity is constantly zero, otherwise it keeps moving in the same speed and the same direction).
The momentum equation is not quite right. Momentum (looks like a p, greek letter rho) is equal to mass times velocity. Algebraically, m = p/v. In a collision, the energy may be dispersed, but momentum will remain constant.
Rho can also be used to describe the density of an object, the mass per unit of volume. Like I said before, I don't have the equations memorized, but (delta)P = (rho)g(delta)h translates to "the change in pressure is equal to the density of the substance times gravity times the change in height." Pressure usually requires a fluid (liquid or gas), so something is sinking or floating here.
In the wave, the Greek letter lambda represents the wavelength. Really the chart is just showing that half of a wave is still half of a wave no matter where you start measuring it.
So we have an object that is floating or sinking, moving at a constant speed through a fluid, the mass is being (mis)calculated, and we have the beginnings of a wave harmonics equation and of a vector to components equation.
Either she wants to ride in a sailboat or she needs to assemble a crack team of miners, soldiers, and scientists to save the world.

...okay, so I pretty much googled "physics formulas" and took a few artistic liberties. It seems the effect is a lot like picking foreign words that sound pretty and trying to construct a coherent sentence with them.

I wrote one and I was in another. The one I wrote was a short absurd one-act about birds, and lots of people seemed to love it! The second play was The Tempest, and I was Prospero.
