There was an uproar from the fans about Ahoska not being mentioned in The Last Jedi, if Luke and Rey are the last of their kind then what happened to Ahsoka and Ezra? And there was also a complaint about a character called Mara Jade not being present.

Well fans have always a reason to be either disappointed or happy about movies and I’ve learnt that Star Wars fans do this much more than any other one XD. I feel more connected to the first six movies- that created a perfect circle and I am okay with stories that are within the fictional continuity such as the clone wars, Star Wars rebels and rogue one ( I haven’t seen Solo so I cannot say anything). The sequels, as far as I have seen, seem disconnected from everything that has happened before, characters are presented with few to none details or back stories ( snoke? The first order? Where did they come out from?) or completely out of character ( sorry but I don’t buy Luke Skywalker being a hermit for 15 years) so I am a little bit disappointed and I cannot find myself able to grow affectionate about any of the characters as I did with the prequels and the original trilogy. I know Mara Jade was a character from the Expanded Universe but since when Disney bought the rights, they decided to cut all that part from canon stories.
