Description
He's staring at meThe man from the movie poster
And the lights are shining through my eyes
Mischief. Mayhem. Soap
It reads me like the caution label
On this bottle of Asprin
No matter where I go his eyes are there
And they are almost like yours
Filled with haunting sighs of relief
Mishchief. Mayhem. Soap
It speaks to me like the words
Of my kindergarden play
Even between closed eyes I vision that face
Mocking my cries to a pillow named "why"
Mischief. Mayhem. Soap

i really love how you've managed to turn something like a movie poster (which happens to be from one of my favorite movies, starring the best actor in my opinion of all existence) into a very odd, demented little poem; an odd, demented, FANTASTIC little poem. thanx as always for sharing my friend, i hope to see more in the future, so take care hun, i appreciate it,

i dont know. it seems random and sporadic. you could definitely give greater detail. its got potential. i'm not downing you or nothing i just don't get any picture from it.
but speaking of picture, i like the pic at the top. fight club was one of those movies that really hit me hard. you see, i have schizophrenia too. not the same type as the guy in the movie but i'm schizo.

I think the only reason this achieved 18 +favs is because of the graphic, and because it's Fight Club. Your metaphors are jumbled together, and out of place. You jump from one idea to another without bridging the gap between them. It's hard to make sense all together as one piece of work. I'm even at a loss for a general theme of this. You go from talking about a man on a poster looking at you, to talking about a bottle of aspirin. I've read minimalistic poetry before, where you need to draw the lines to make a conclusion, but this is scribble.

I like the colors and i really like the tagline. Haven't seen fightclub but that's a good line. Almost looks like a neo-nazi modern racism poster or something. Great work.

hmm, i guess it would be prudent to say, at least, that it's a good thing that poster isn't bugged. that would probably be the ultimate final straw,..to have your apartment bugged with a fight club poster. i mean if someone was listening, recording what you do, and the device they used to track you was hidden behind those eyes, ....that gives me the creeps. but this is how you've inspired me, all the same.
Nice feeling
I like.

i like how you refer to the poster, but it seems as that if you had personnified the poster more, given it a malevolence and more violence in the descriptions then the poem could be stronger. at the moment the poem feels abit weak, as i never really got a sense of forboding from the poem, but rather the reaction of the 'voice of the poem' gives the impression. so maybe focus ont he poster rather than the reaction?
hope that helps.

Don't you hate it when you sit there at like 1 a.m freakin out and pratically twitching because posters are staring at you and just won't stop? Yeah me too lol. Anyway, this is a nice little poem you've got here. Me likes it mucho much!
Eh, I think I might fave it ... Yeah what the Hell, I'm gonna fave it

This is pretty out there. But I like it's eccentricities. It might've been better if you hadn't told us why you wrote it. It's abstract, after all. Let us figure it out

I love how you can turn something as simple as being freaked out by a poster into a great poem like this. I admire poets that can turn a minor even into a major poem. Great work, great art.
