Well think of it - the Toads, they are mushrooms right? And how are mushrooms born? Oh, they just spawn somewhere dark and humid and mature in a matter days - and, I suppose, so do Toads :0. Not that it's perfectly normal to even think about this, but now you are doomed to have this in mind whenever you encounter them huh huh huh C:<

Nintendo also thought about the origin of the seemingly one gender Toads, and so they added Toadette - those sick, sick "family friendlies"!
