They heard of how the moonlight shapes itself
Unbidden into bone white, wraith-like forms
Through wreaths of sultry summerβs rising mists
Curling from the lazy midnight waters.
Thus soft concealed in swaying banks of reed
The three, their gazes on the inky lake
Rigid with an overwhelming need
A stolen glimpse of one of pale lightβs daughters.
No memory of how they travelled home
That pair, no memory of seeing aught
Nor of the one they left in her embrace
Nor of the final rictus on his face.
Beautiful make-up work. Love the soft focus as the face dips into the shadows. Torn on the lips; a touch more definition? But then again, they have the impressionistic beauty of brush strokes which contrasts the eyes. Oh the eyes. Black and white is the key; but even with the definition in the lips in βMy Noirβ itβs the look in βNoir 2β that inspires. I wonder what some ochre nail polish would do?

Damn girl, you look straight through me! Well that's the feeling I get with this picture. Don't know about the cig. The ring is a nice touch, the way you applied sharp and unsharp is very good.

Quite good. This is better than the color one. You can't say "noir" and then use colors
By the way, what's on your finger, under the cigarette? A ring, I suppose, though it looks almost like a tattoo.
