Description
My large violet is just a big mound of leaves and, at the moment, few flowers -- very hard to paint and make interesting, even if I could paint it realistically, but I figured I'd give it a try just to see what I could do with it. Ended up using the picture frame gambit just to give the painting a little more structure.12x16" 30x40cm acrylic on hardboard
