12x16 30x40cm acrylic on hardboardI've decided to get out of the landscape artist racket, at least for this year. Tired of painting variations of the same scene and I can't seem to come up with much new in the landscape line, so now it's anything goes except landscapes. In this case, an abstract floral.

I'll use this piece to thank you for all your kind comments. It is funny to read my blurb for this piece and see that I felt exactly the same way a year and half ago as I do today. I guess I've done some landscapes since then, but it's been hit and miss... Don't know what I'll do next. Oh, well. This piece is what you get when you scrape off paint -- a stain from the paint remains and I just went back and added some stuff to the stains.
