Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit this this thing is long. Sorry about that, I tried to condense it as much as I could.

So yeah, this is pretty much what I do when I color. You can apply this to painting or just basic soft shading with lineart. If you have any questions, feel free to throw them my way.

I'll just add that I do everything the long way, so if you know a few shortcuts (copy/paste/flip for symmetry) go ahead and tweak this as much as you want, it's your choice.
