The creature sharing his body struggled to escape the pain, to fight back, but not while he still held some control. He felt a tingling pressure reverberating through him. The bones of his mouth cracked and split, his teeth melting away and forming a hard cephalopod beak.
Submission for Odyssey Project II chapter 6 (winner).
Hm, feeling kind of like I may be running out of ideas now, and also that I didn't spent enough time planning out my painting before I started in with the ink. I didn't have enough time to do a second try at the painting though, so I hope you still enjoy this.
I'm wondering what's going to happen now with the story. The monster's still changing Paul and Maya is still fighting with him. Two chapters left to wrap it up. I'm wondering how everything is going to conclude, and really hoping that it's not going to be a simple case of, then the monster died, the end.
Write a good next chapter, guys!

I'm just guessing now, but I think this one will be selected. It's very cool looking, and emotionally charged. I really like it, it's fantastic. The colors are well selected, the facial expression is relatable yet not over the top or cartoonified, and the overall composition is solid and pleasing to the eye despite depicting a somewhat graphic scene. Very good. Very well done.
