Description
This scene is inspired by the Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire video game. When playing through Echo Base, you can release Wampa ice creatures from their cages and watch as they take out the invading Snowtroopers. Which I found to be greatly entertaining.
Done completely in photoshop CS5 (Some slight post production modifications have been done to give extra depth and contrast.)
Star wars of course was created by George Lucas. Now owned by Disney.

I mean , look at the Empire Strikes Back , he could've led the assault on Echo base from the beginning , assuring the Rebels wouldn't have had the time to escape
But nooo , instead " Hey General , you do it . Gotta get a coffee before landing in ... "Β

That moment was inspired by a deleted scene in The Empire Strikes Back. An earlier scene would have established that a bunch of Wampas were sealed in a room in echo base with a warning sign on the door warning people of such. Later when the rebels were fleeing echo base C3PO would have stopped briefly while fleeing the falcon to remove the sign. Much to the woe of a bunch of storm troopers that then opened the door. It's why threepio was so behind the others when they reached the falcon. Remembering him screaming for them to wait of him.
A great piece of art. Sorry about the rambling, I just love sharing my Star Wars knowledge.

This brought back memories of Hunt mode in Battlefront 2. Though hunt mode on Hoth is Wampas vs Rebels. Those creatures pack a nasty wallop.
