Now you can have a Furniture Leaf without paying Gracie Grace prices!
I finally put together the full tutorial on how to make the furniture leaf from
Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I was asked about it so much once I'd made it and was
too busy getting ready for Kitacon to post a full tutorial. Then after the con I started
work placement but I've FINALLY gotten it all written up. I even took some pretty
pictures of the props in my garden near some Cherry Blossom trees. You can find it
on my website with lots of pictures and instruction. Happy making! Also make sure to

Aww, don't worry about it. I've had the game since January, but it's full of WTF styles. Like, Japanese conflicting with modern styles. It's very...odd, to say the least. xD

It tries to appeal to all countries but is, of course, a game made in Japan.
I love all the little styles and you can collect a wide range of furniture.
Try Minimalist or Alpine furniture sets for something modern and simple

I should be able to get the leaf made. Would a hair dryer work ok instead of a heat gun tho? Gotta work around with what I got lol

Yes a hairdryer will work fine 
make sure the Worbla doesn't bubble. You can smoothe them out
with heat though so don't worry too much.

It may of been said already but what is a Worbla? I've never heard of that before o-o Is it that flat foam piece that the leaf is made out of?

Worbla is a thermo plastic that I used over the foam. You heat it up and
when it cools it goes solid. It's great for armour and detail. You can buy it
either from Yayahan's site (if your American) or Coscraft (If your from the UK).
It's a great material to work with. You can just use foam if you like but
Worbla helped me get the crisp look and the detail on the leaf

You only need a small sheet, enough to cover the front and back of the leaf

And yea she was on the cosplay show. I dident watch the show but I do remember her. I hear a lot of bad things about the show tho and about her ;n;

Ahh that's a shame, the prices over here are quite cheap (although if
you bought it from the UK you'd most likely have to pay more for
postage than the actual item). Maybe try heating the foam to curve
it then adding some detail on with another material? Or do two layers
of foam the same size, one for the base and one with the leaf veins and
detail on? The PVA layers should harden it a bit more to make it sturdy.
Oh I hadn't really heard any drama from it, I really don't know much about it.

Im not sure the prices there were for it but here its saying around 40 to 60 bucks for it. Thats about half of what my dress and horns are going to cost lol

From what I can remember hearing is that shes rude and shallow. The show basically shows only the competition portion of the con and such and that its not all what cosplay is about and making cosplayers look shallow and just a bunch of things. That is about the fun and creating the cosplays.
I havnt watched it, I dont think I will cause I have other things to do but thats just all that I've heard. I dont know if its all true cause yea..I dont watch it lol.

too so if you need anymore help she'll be the perfect person to ask!
Maybe try just layered foam for now. I hope foam over there isn't too expensive

Yeah that is crazy XD what is £? Its a British dollar sign correct? Pounds? My grandmother would know, shes visited England once for a week and met her online friend. I actually really want to visit England..Along with Germany lol Must be a lot better over there then here in America =/
Foam shouldnt be to expensive here..I think maybe 10$, 15$. It may be cheaper but if not I dont see it being priced higher then 20$ lol

It's the British Pound sign, basically our dollar (if that helps).
Well I've never been to America so I don't know, but it rains quite a bit.
We barely get any sunshine, it's always rather grey and dull.

In America I live in Michigan. It rains a lot during April and May. We almost had a Tornado the other day lol Rainy weather is fine with me. I find that Im more relaxed and happier when its kinda grey and dull lol. Im not a sun person XD
Also sorry I always replay either early or late to you. I think we're 7 hours apart. Its almost 1pm here. I watched the wedding thing yall had a while back. I've forgotten their names, Im sorry lol. Anyways, it was like..11am over there I think when we were watching it around 6am.
I personally rather live in Canada. I really dont like America. And I dont know how I feel about our president. He acts stupid =/
