Ink Splash finally got a reference sheet and a proper picture!

Ink Splash grew up in Canterlot with her very conservative parents, who wasn't too keen on her talents. In High School, she met her best friend Cloversong and now lives in Ponyville doing all kinds of creative commission work for the ponies there. Cloversong kinda lives in the house too, but only when he's not travelling. Another good friend of hers is Valkyria, who started out as a pen friend from Denmark, but eventually moved to Ponyville too. She is very conscious about her hair because she has a genetic disease that makes it age fast and fade at the ends.
